Mamane Earrings inlayed with Paua Shell
Mamane grows in mid to high elevation in the full sun mostly dry forests. The tree has beautiful yellow flowers.
The Palila Bird uses Mamane seeds as its main food source.
Mamane had many uses in old Hawaii some of our favorite known are
Olona scraping boards, Holua (sleds), and used as a form of warding off bad energy and evil.
These earrings are made with intentions of connecting to the warm of the sun. To connect with the higher knowledge and true wisdom. They are to help us remember in the toughest times we are being shaped into a greater purpose.
These earrings measure 3 inches long.
